Students of Balochistan and FATA to Get Free Education



Today, it is reported that all those students who belong to  Balochistan and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) will now be able to get free education through the distance learning program of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU).
In the past, AIOU has been working to provide free education at the secondary level to the needy groups across the country.
AIOUAlmost two weeks ago, the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Shahid Siddiqui announced free education for all transgender and now he has been working to provide free education to the students of Baluchistan and FATA.
The mission of free education was announced by Dr. Shahid Siddiqui during his speech at National Conference about English language and Literature.
The English Department of AIOU and HEC both have organized the two-day event. According to Vice Chancellor, the students of Baluchistan and FATA can now be able to get free education till matric.
The mission of giving free education to the student of Baluchistan and FATA is yet another way to improve infrastructure and educational facilities in the country and bring more people in the educational circle.
AIOU has already taken steps for providing free schooling in abandoned sectors of the country including disabled persons, captives, drop-out girls and transgender group.
Moreover, the university has already dismissed the tuition fee for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of the tribal areas. Additionally, the university also granted scholarships and awards to the deserving students and making it sure that no one is left out due to economic dilemmas.
